WELCOME TO APOSTOLIC CHURCH EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY (ACEM) CHURCH
The organization started in 1992 as an Evangelism Team preaching in Busia, Kakamega, Kitale, Nakuru, Nairobi, Bungoma, and Kisumu. In 2004 the group was registered as Kawangware Apostolic Church Ministry (KACEM). Later on, in 2013 it changed its name to Apostolic Church Evangelistic Ministry (ACEM)
Initially, the group was under the United Pentecostal Church (UPC). The solemn purpose was:-
- Preach and open churches
- Preach salvation in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:36-39)
- Baptism in much water.
The group was guided by a calling of the gospel (Mark 16:16). In 1995 the group joined Apostolic Fellowship Church under Bishop Aston Ngota.
ACEM has been among the fastest-growing church organizations since it was formed and has grown to more than 50 churches (including preaching points), which the founding Bishop of ACEM chairs.
The governmental structure of ACEM is Theocratic in that local churches are self-governing. The Bishop ordains regional leaders and pastors, and individually the pastors appoint other ministers in the local assembly. Local leaders decide their budget, establish membership, and conduct all necessary business.
The general organization embraces a modified Apostolic System in which ministers meet in sectional, district, and general conferences to conduct the organization’s business. The highest governing body of ACEM is the Executive Board which is chaired by the Bishop.
OUR VISION
To preach the gospel of ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM (ONENESS) to the World (Ephesian 4:5)
OUR MISSION
To open and establish new self-supporting, self-governing and self-propagating churches. To undertake , develop, promote and carry on charitable, religious, scientific and development programs among communities where our spiritual church ministry is situated in alleviation of pain, hunger, poverty and suffering by the provision of food, clothing, medicine as well as funds and services for the administration and distribution.
